Banned South Korean Olympic swimmer Park Tae-hwan has touched down in Japan and will train in the country until December.
The 25-year-old, who won gold in the 400m freestyle at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, is serving an 18-month ban after testing positive for testosterone last September.
Park claimed that the banned substance was found in his system as a result of an injection that he received while being treated for a skin condition at a local clinic.
The swimmer's management company Team GMP released a statement claiming that Park left for Tokyo on Monday with his manager and fitness trainer and will train at Hosei University.
