Russian Federation's Mariia Kameneva has admitted that she and her teammates were slightly disappointed about missing out on the world record in the 4x100m freestyle swimming relay.
The Russians clinched the gold medal in the event, although they were three seconds short of the record held by the USA.
She told reporters: "We thought we had a chance of breaking the world record but we didn't get it in the end and finished three seconds outside.
"But we are happy with the gold medal. That was what mattered."
The Russian Federation have won 47 gold medals at Baku.
