Chad Le Clos has successfully defended the 100m butterfly title that he won in Barcelona in 2013 with victory at the World Swimming Championships in Kazan.
The South African broke the African record as he posted a time of 50.56s, finishing 0.31s ahead of Hungary's Laszlo Cseh, who took the silver.
Joseph Schooling of Singapore completed the top three, setting a new Asian record with a time of 50.96s, a day after breaking his national record in the semi-finals.
Le Clos also won a silver in the 200m butterfly earlier this week.
