Great Britain's Adam Peaty has set a new European Championships record after finishing fastest in today's 50m breaststroke heat in Berlin.
The 19-year-old is on course to add to his two gold medals after reaching tonight's semi-finals in 26.91s.
The time is 13 hundredths of a second off the record time that he set at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow when he won silver in the event.
Meanwhile, Jazz Carlin added to Britain's medal haul in the pool last night by winning the 800m freestyle final.
