Good morning and welcome to Sports Mole's live coverage of day three of the Olympic swimming.
There are plenty of talking points from yesterday's pool action. World and European records tumbled, and Great Britain's Rebecca Adlington earned bronze in the women's 400m freestyle.
Coming up this morning, we have the heats of the women's 200m freestyle, men's 200m butterfly, and women's 200m individual medley.
There are four gold medals up for grabs this evening, with Team GB's Liam Tancock and Gemma Spofforth going for 100m backstroke glory in the men's and women's, respectively. Robbie Renwick is also in action in the men's 200m freestyle.

21.14But the good news for Team GB is that Miley is in the final as the seventh-fastest qualifier.
21.12Ye sets a new Olympic record time of 2:08.39 and secures a place in the final. It was a blisteringly fast heat with five making the final.
21.09World record breaker Shiwen Ye is in this second heat. Much has been made of her turning in a faster time than the USA's Ryan Lochte, so she's one to watch for sure.
21.06Miley comes in second behind Katinka Hosszu of Hungary. She came in at 2:10.89. That all but guarantees her a spot in the final!

21.01Last but not least tonight is the women's 200m individual medley semi-final. Set forward Hannah Miley.

20.42Clary could only manage fourth in the first semi-final there. Takeshi Matsuda of Japan wins it, with Chad le Clos of South Africa in second.
20.39There's something of a rivalry between Phelps and Tyler Clary in this one. Clary once insinuated that Phelps does not pull his weight in training, causing some controversy.
20.38Two semi-finals to go this evening. The first is the men's 200m butterfly, a mouthwatering contest involving heavyweights Phelps and Cseh.
20.34So there you have it. Lithuania have their first ever gold medal in a swimming event. Rebecca Soni took sliver for USA, and Satomi Suzuki of Japan claimed silver. Read a report here.

19.31Allison Schmitt of the US is one to watch in this first heat. She was the fastest qualifier with a time of 1:57.33.

19.22Nevertheless, we feel that Tancock has at least a bronze in him, and maybe more!
19.20Matthew Grevers of the USA will prove tough to beat in that event, as will Camille Lacourt of France.
19.17So who is Britain's best hope for a medal this evening? We'd say Liam Tancock. He may be more at home swimming 50m, but he's proven that he's more than competent across twice that distance.
19.12Elsewhere, we implore you to check out 15-year-old sensation Ruta Meilutyte of Lithuania in the women's 100m breaststroke. She moves like a torpedo!
19.10Looking further ahead, Hannah Miley will attempt to book a place in the women's 200m individual medley.
19.07And let's not forget Caitlin Mcclatchey, who put in an impressive swim to make it through the heats of the women's 200m freestyle. She's up first in the semi-finals of the event.
