Team GB's Michael Jamieson and Andrew Willis have secured places in the men's 200m breaststroke semi-finals at London 2012.
The former set a new English record time of 2:08.20 with a dominant performance that barely saw him slip out of the top two throughout.
Willis was not far off his teammate's record in the second semi-final of the evening, finishing on the heels of Hungary's Daniel Gyurta after leading the pack at the halfway stage.
Jamieson is a firm medal hope for Great Britain, qualifying for the last eight with the swiftest time, but he will face stiff competition from Gyurta and Scott Weltz of the United States.
The men's 200m breaststroke semi-final takes place at the Aquatics Centre tomorrow evening (August 1).
