Matthew Horwood has qualified for the men's 400m final in the S6 class.
The British swimmer finished second in his heat, clocking the third-fastest qualifying time going in to the final.
In the first heat, Irishman Darragh McDonald swam 5:02.38 to finish 26 seconds ahead of Australia's Reagan Wickens.
In the second heat, Horwood finished behind Anders Olsson of Sweden, who swam an impressive 4:55.00.
The final takes place at 5.44pm this evening in the Aquatics Centre.
