British swimmer Jazz Carlin is hopeful that she can reach the podium at the World Championships in Russia following her success at the British Swimming Championships in London.
The Welsh athlete came out on top in the 400m, 800m and 200m freestyle finals at the London Aquatics Centre last week.
"This week has helped me a lot, it has given me an indication of where I am in training and also it has given me things to improve on for the next few months," the South Wales Evening Post quotes Carlin as saying.
"Obviously I'd love to be on the podium in Russia. I think for everyone who does all the hours of training, that is their ultimate goal. I am not going to lie, that is definitely a goal of mine, and I'll be training as hard as I can to do the best I can."
The meet will get underway in Kazan on July 24.
