Great Britain's Hannah Miley has secured her place in the final of the women's 400m individual medley at London 2012.
The Scottish swimmer turned in a time of 4:34.98 to win her heat and secure sixth spot overall.
Elizabeth Beisel of the USA recorded the fastest time of the heats with 4:31.68, edging out second-placed Shiwen Ye of China by a fraction of a second.
Team GB's Aimee Wilmott did well to turn in a time of 4:38.87, but it was not enough to see her through to the next phase with Miley.
The women's 400m individual medley final takes place at 8.09pm this evening.
