Jade Jones believes that she is adapting well to the Grand Prix events that are being used for qualification for the Olympic Games in 2016.
Jones, who won gold at London 2012, has earned silver in Manchester and Kazakhstan to put herself in a position to claim a top-six spot in the Grand Prix series, but ahead of her participation in this year's Manchester event, she only has eyes on winning gold.
The 21-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "I've got so close so many times. Hopefully I'll finally get that gold in front of the home crowd.
"The Grands Prix are hard and really challenging on the body. I didn't do many competitions before London 2012 and just picked a few to peak at, but I've had to change my mindset and get in there and have a scrap. It seems to be working now."
The Welsh competitor also won silver at the European Championships in Baku in May.
