Great Britain's Jade Jones has claimed her nation's third gold medal of the European Games by winning the final of the women's -57kg taekwondo in Baku.
The 22-year-old booked her place in the gold-medal match by defeating Sweden's Nikita Glasnovic in the semi-finals to set up the clash against Croatia's Ana Zaninovic.
Jones powered into a 5-0 lead in the first round, but the Croat battled back to bring herself within striking distance at 8-6. However, the Briton was not to be deterred as she secured her win by a 12-9 scoreline.
Zaninovic claimed the silver for her exploits in the event, while Glasnovic and Spain's Eva Calvo Gomez won the bronze medals.
