Great Britain's Bianca Walkden was knocked out of the women's +67kg taekwondo quarter-final at the European Games this afternoon, after falling to Ukrainian practitioner Maryna Konieva.
Walkden succumbed to a 14-13 golden-point defeat that saw Konieva edge through having collected 13 points on the attack, with her British opponent managing a total just a little too short at 10 points.
Konieva's victory has established a semi-final showdown with Serbian athlete Milica Mandic, which is due to take place later this afternoon.
Team GB currently hold eighth spot in the tournament's medals table, with the Russian Federation leading the way in first position.
