Novak Djokovic has said that his tactics were 'terrific' during his straight-sets victory over Rafael Nadal today.
The Serbian won 6-3 6-3 at the ATP World Tour finals to progress through to the final.
"I tried to build the points and not go for every shot. As soon as I had a shorter ball I wanted to move him around and not give him a comfort zone where he likes to be," Djokovic told Sky Sports News.
"I didn't want to give him the same look all the time. I wanted him to feel like he doesn't know where the next ball was going to go. That worked well for me. It's easier said than done but I executed the game plan terrifically today."
The 28-year-old will play against Roger Federer on Sunday evening.
