Former British number one Greg Rusedski has described Andy Murray's victory over Novak Djokovic to win the ATP World Tour Finals as "astonishing".
Murray won his first title at the season-ending tournament courtesy of a straight-sets triumph over Djokovic despite having battled through a gruelling semi-final with Milos Raonic just a day earlier.
The win also ensured that Murray will end the year as world number one, and Rusedski was full of praise for the Brit.
"I want to know from Murray, how he recovered from [Saturday] because that was astonishing," he told Sky Sports News.
"It was all about his brilliance. He served well, he was aggressive. This is the best match Murray has played throughout this championship and that's why he is the number one player.
"Don't take anything away from him - he was the better man today - it wasn't Novak playing poorly. What a performance, what a result... incredible."
The result was Murray's 24th consecutive victory and his first over Djokovic on an indoor hard court.
