Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has admitted that he is hoping for a positive start during his ATP World Tour Finals match against Mardy Fish this afternoon.
Tsonga started slowly in his last encounter of the competition against Roger Federer, losing the opening set in just 21 minutes.
This time around, the 26-year-old has targeted a better beginning to the tie.
"Every day is different," Tsonga told Sky Sports News. "I hope I will start better.
"I just want to go on the court and play my best tennis."
Tsonga beat Fish in their last meeting at the US Open.
