Novak Djokovic claimed a comfortable straight-sets victory over Stanislas Wawrinka at the O2 Arena in London this evening in the ATP World Tour Finals.
The world number one took just one hour and five minutes to cruise past his opponent with a 6-3 6-0 win to wrap up his 29th consecutive indoor win.
Djokovic slipped to 2-0 in the first, but quickly recovered to win 12 of the next 13 games and maintain his position at the top of Group A.
The Serbian was in imperious form in the second, but claimed after the game that Wawrinka was nowhere near his best form.
Djokovic told reporters: "I swung through my shots and he made a lot of unforced errors. He wasn't close to his best and I succeeded very well with what I wanted to do."
Victory against Tomas Berdych on Friday will see Djokovic end the year as the world's number one.
