Kim Clijsters has tipped Serena Williams to win next month's Australian Open.
Williams was recently voted the WTA Player of the Year for 2012 following her triumphs at Wimbledon, the US Open and the London Olympics.
When asked who she thought would come out on top in Melbourne at the start of next year, the Belgian told CNN: "Serena."
Clijsters, who retired from the game for a second time at the end of last season, won four Grand Slam singles during an illustrious career.
