Tenth seed Grigor Dimitrov has admitted that he found conditions "tough" at the Australian Open in his opening-round victory over Dustin Brown earlier today.
The 23-year-old made no mistake against his American opponent, recording a quick-fire 6-2 6-3 6-2 success to advance through in Melbourne.
Dimitrov revealed his delight immediately after the match, despite the "challenging" conditions he was up against on Court 2.
"I think it was just a little tough for everyone to get into that rhythm, to get used to the court," he told reporters. "It was pretty windy today."
Dimitrov will now face Slovakia's Lukas Lacko in the last 64.
