Simona Halep has said that she was stressed on court during her quarter-final defeat to Ekaterina Makarova.
The Russian breezed to a surprise 6-4 6-0 victory to book her place in the semi-finals, and Halep said that she didn't feel comfortable at any stage against her ruthless opponent.
She told reporters: "Just I was a little bit stressed. I don't know why. I had experience from last year to play quarter-finals, so it doesn't mean that I felt pressure. Just I didn't feel the game, the ball. Was a very bad day for me."
Makarova will face Maria Sharapova in the semi-finals.
