American world number 14 John Isner has revealed that he could be forced to pull out of the upcoming Australian Open through injury.
The 27-year-old, who is currently struggling with a bruised bone in his right leg, lost 6-4 6-4 in the second round of the Sydney International to fellow countryman Ryan Harrison on Wednesday.
When asked what his chances of playing in Melbourne were, Isner told reporters: "I don't know. I've got a decision to make shortly.
"Certainly I could win a match maybe, a match or two. I don't see myself winning the whole tournament at this point, that's for sure."
The Australian Open starts at Melbourne Park on Sunday.
