Chinese number one Li Na has set her sights on a place in the top three of the WTA rankings.
The 30-year-old, who is seeded sixth at the Australian Open, reached round four in Melbourne on Friday courtesy of a 6-4 6-1 victory over Sorana Cirstea.
"I really want to be top three," she told Reuters. "I know it's tough but if you didn't have a goal maybe you just feel like, 'Oh, number six also is pretty good. I don't even have to work.'"
Li's highest world ranking came in 2011, when she climbed to fourth on the back of winning the French Open.
