Rafael Nadal has become the latest player to use a data-tracking device on his racquet to attempt to analyse each of his performances.
During his Australian Open first-round win over Mikhail Youzhny, the Spaniard played with a racquet that allows him to see which kind of shot he uses throughout a match, but the left-hander has insisted that there has been little alternation compared to his old racquet.
The 28-year-old told reporters: "The racquet for me is very similar to the last one. For example, I know to play well, I need to play 70% of forehands; 30% of backhands.
"If I'm not doing that, I know that I'm not doing the right thing on court. This is a way where you can check these kind of things."
Nadal plays American Tim Smyczek in the second round at 8am GMT on Wednesday.
