Laura Robson has said that she was pleased with how she served during the straight-sets victory over Melanie Oudin.
The 18-year-old set up a mouthwatering clash with eighth seed Petra Kvitova with a comprehensive victory on court number three.
Robson believes that she did well against the American, but conceded that there is still room for improvement.
"I'm pleased with the win, I thought I served well," Robson told BBC Sport.
"A little bit iffier than I would have liked on the groundstrokes, but after I came off the match court I went on the practice court for a little bit and worked out a few things.
"I did think I played pretty well, just not as well as I would have liked. Hopefully in the next match it will be a bit better."
It is the second time Robson has been involved in the main draw for the Australian Open.
