Novak Djokovic has reached his third consecutive Australian Open final courtesy of an emphatic straight-sets win over David Ferrer.
The world number one, who already has three Melbourne titles to his name, took just 88 minutes to complete a 6-2 6-2 6-1 victory over the fourth-seeded Spaniard.
Djokovic was thoroughly dominant on serve, hitting six aces and winning 91% of points behind his first serve.
The Serb did not face a single break point during the entire match, but he broke his opponent's serve on seven occasions.
Djokovic hit 30 winners and won 85 of 126 points to set up a Sunday showdown with either Roger Federer or Andy Murray.
