Novak Djokovic has progressed through to the Australian Open fourth round with a straight-sets win over Albert Ramos-Vinolas.
The former world number one is playing in his first competitive tournament for six months after an elbow injury, but the Serbian is showing signs of finding his form as he eased to a 6-2 6-3 6-3 triumph over Ramos-Vinolas.
Djokovic had been forced to play in the extreme Melbourne heat during his last-64 encounter two days ago, but the 30-year-old showed few ill effects against his Spanish opponent in the night session on Saturday.
The match lasted almost two hours and 22 minutes, but Djokovic broke Ramos-Vinolas's serve on five occasions while not losing a game behind his own delivery in any of the three sets.
Djokovic will now face Chung Hyeon, who registered a surprise five-set win over Alexander Zverev earlier in the day.
