Venus Williams has blasted her way into the second round of the Australian Open courtesy of a 6-1 6-0 victory over Galina Voskoboeva.
The seven-time Grand Slam champion won 80% of the points on her serve, while also striking 13 winners on her way to wrapping up the first set in 31 minutes.
It was a similar story in the second set, as Williams continued to dominate on serve.
The American needed just two match points to book her place in the next round, coming into the net to stroke the ball beyond the helpless Kazakh.
Williams will now play the winner of Alize Cornet and Marina Erakovic.
