Victoria Azarenka has spoken of her bronze-medal success at London 2012, describing her emotions as "overwhelming".
The Belarusian, seeded first for the women's singles, lost her semi-final to eventual gold medallist Serena Williams before claiming the bronze with victory over Russia's Maria Kirilenko.
Speaking of her bronze medal, the 23-year-old said: "Oh, it means everything. It was incredible feeling to just go out there today after tough day yesterday and to fight hard and just give it all.
"It was incredibly difficult physically, but I'm so proud of what I did. Emotions are overwhelming, overtaking me."
Azarenka still has a chance of an Olympic gold as she faces the Great British duo of Laura Robson and Andy Murray in the mixed doubles final with partner Max Mirnyi.
