Victoria Azarenka and Max Mirnyi have reached the mixed doubles gold-medal final by edging Lisa Raymond and Mike Bryan in a 'super' tie-break this evening.
After an edgy opening service game from Americans Raymond and Bryan, the next six went on serve comfortably before the Belarusians broke through to take a 5-3 lead and served out the set in the next.
The second set went the other way, as Raymond and Bryan were the ones to make a crucial late break to clinch the set 6-4.
That meant a 'super' ten-point tie-break would have to decide the match and it was the Belarusians who took it 10-7 to wrap up the match in 79 minutes.
Azarenka and Mirnyi will face the Great British duo of Laura Robson and Andy Murray for the gold in the third and final match on Centre Court tomorrow.
