Andy Murray has been knocked out of the Cincinnati Masters in the quarter-finals in straight sets by Tomas Berdych.
The second seed started brightly, bringing up a break point in the third game of the first set, but the Czech player was able to hold serve.
Despite serving eight aces, Murray's serving percentage dropped towards the end of the set, allowing Berdych to grab a break before serving out the set.
Murray tried to raise his game at the start of the second, but Berdych was too strong, breaking the Wimbledon champion in his second service game.
The Scot made Berdych face three break points, but his opponent kept his cool to save the lot, securing his place in the last four.
Berdych will face either Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal in the semi-finals.
