Roger Federer has made a winning start to his Cincinnati Open title defence, seeing off Roberto Bautista Agut in straight sets to book his place in round three.
The six-time champion made short work of the Spaniard, firing six aces and 24 winners on his way to a 6-4 6-4 win.
Federer did not face a single break point as he wrapped up the match within 69 minutes to complete a fourth straight-sets victory in a row over Bautista Agut.
The Swiss will take on either Jack Sock or Kevin Anderson in the next round.
