Rafael Nadal has booked his place in the last eight of the Cincinnati Open with a 2-6 7-5 2-6 victory over Grigor Dimitrov.
The Spaniard was pushed by the talented 23-year-old - especially in the second set - but rallied in the third to seal his progress in just over two hours.
Nadal looked comfortable in taking the first set 6-2 but Dimitrov produced a few dazzling shots at crucial moments in the second to take it 7-5.
However, the 12-time Grand Slam champion was in no mood to capitulate and responded by winning the deciding set 6-2 to set up a quarter-final meeting with Roger Federer.
