Andy Murray has claimed that France will be the favourites when Great Britain play hosts in the Davis Cup quarter-finals in the summer.
Murray was the hero on Sunday as his straight-sets win over John Isner secured victory over the USA in Glasgow, but he has played down suggestions that the success hands them the advantage ahead of the meeting with France.
"I don't think we were favourites coming into this tie and France has some of the best doubles players in the world - slam champions and finalists in doubles," the world number five told reporters.
"Guys like [Nicolas] Mahut and [Julien] Benneteau are fantastic doubles players, and then they have something like six or seven guys in the top 50 in the world, so I don't know how we could expect to go into the match as favourites."
Gilles Simon and Gael Monfils joined Mahut and Benneteau to help France beat Germany in their last-16 tie, but they could bring Jo-Wilfried Tsonga back into the team for the quarter-final in July.
