Radek Stepanek has revealed that he had been dreaming of Davis Cup success 'his whole life' following the Czech Republic's victory over Spain in Prague.
The 33-year-old shocked world number 11 Nicolas Almagro in four sets on Sunday to give his country a dramatic 3-2 win over the defending champions.
"I was dreaming about it my whole life," said Stepanek. "It's amazing. I cannot describe what I'm feeling right now."
The Czech's triumph was their first in the competition since 1980.
