Andy Murray ensured a Davis Cup triumph for Great Britain with a straight-sets victory over USA number one John Isner this afternoon.
Murray delighted the home crowd in Glasgow with a passionate display to give GB an unassailable 3-1 lead that puts them through to a world group quarter-final against France.
The first set was a topsy-turvy affair, with Murray having to save three set points before he came through 7-4 in a tie-break.
The second was more straightforward for the British number one as he came through 6-3 before clinching victory in another breaker in the third.
The tie against France will also be at home and takes place between July 17-19.
