Simona Halep has admitted that she is feeling confident following her win over Maria-Teresa Torro-Flor in the third round of the French Open.
The fourth seed reached the fourth round of a Grand Slam for only the third time in her career on Saturday as she saw off the Spaniard 6-3 6-0.
Halep will now face American Sloane Stephens for a spot in the quarter-finals at Roland Garros.
"This is the third match where I have played really great tennis," Halep is quoted as saying by the WTA's website. "It's not a surprise because I'm more confident in myself, and I'm feeling the ball really well here.
"I love this tournament. I love to be here and I'm enjoying the moment now. It's my best of my career, and I have to be happy on court and to fight for my chance."
Halep is the highest seed left in the women's draw at the French Open
