Venus Williams has revealed that she is hoping to "learn" from her French Open defeat to Agnieszka Radwanska earlier today.
The former world number one committed a large number of unforced errors throughout the match, allowing her Polish opponent to advance through to round three in exactly one hour.
Rather than allowing the defeat to get her down, Williams has insisted that she will take it in her stride.
"I just have to take this whole experience as something to learn from. There are a lot of different things I can still try," she told reporters.
"I'm going to have ups and downs. I'm not allowed to feel sorry for myself."
Williams has never won the French Open.
