Kevin Anderson has reached the third round of the French Open following a hard-fought 5-7 6-4 6-4 6-4 win against Lu Yen-hsun.
Both players battled strongly in the first set as neither broke serve until the South African was thwarted in the 12th game.
The second set was almost as tense, with Lu being broken in the third game while his opponent was flawless to level proceedings and get back into the match.
