David Ferrer has completed an impressive 6-4 6-3 6-1 win over Lukas Lacko in the first round of the French Open.
The number six seed took control in the early stages of the clash and managed to impose his game on Lacko, who failed to maintain his serve throughout the opening set.
The Spaniard completed a number of impressive forehand shots across the clay court and snatched the advantage to take a one-set lead in Paris.
The second set mirrored the form of the first with Lacko struggling to claim a break of serve from Ferrer, who managed to keep dominating the fixture and steal the second, with one set needed for victory.
The third set became a formality for Ferrer as Lacko could not force through a comeback and the Spanish pro sailed through to the next round.
