Roger Federer has eased into the second round of the French Open with a straight-sets win over Pablo Carreno-Busta.
The world number 169 rarely threatened the reigning Wimbledon champion, losing the opening two sets by a score of 6-2.
The Spaniard showed a little more fight in the third, but as soon as Federer took a break point the result never looked in doubt, as he cruised to 6-3.
Federer will face either Somdev Devvarman or Daniel Munoz-de la Nava in the second round.
