World number one Novak Djokovic has admitted that his start to this season has been similar to his record-breaking 2011.
In 2011 Djokovic was unbeaten in his first 43 matches and ended the year with a record of 70 wins and six losses, picking up three of the four Grand Slams.
This year the Serbian is unbeaten in 13 games and has already won the Australian Open. He admitted that there are similarities between the two.
"Well, it feels the same, in a way, the way I started the year," Djokovic said.
"I have great memories from 2011. That was by far the most successful year in my career.
"I don't want to predict anything. My mindset will stay the same, take it step by step and then see how far I can go."
Djokovic is currently preparing to begin his first Masters event of the season at Indian Wells.
