John Isner has shocked world number one Novak Djokovic in three sets to book his place in the final at Indian Wells.
There was little to seperate the two players in the first set as each competitor found a break of serve to force a tie break.
The big-serving American exchanged breaks with the Serbian twice in the tie break before Isner broke for a third time to serve out the set 9-7.
The following set proved just as tight, but Djokovic managed to level the match when he broke at 5-3 before claiming the set 6-3.
As both players dug deep in the deciding set, the match was decided in a tie break after both players had held serve.
Isner found a break early on to give himself a 2-0 lead, but Djokovic soon clawed the score back to 2-2.
The American broke again to give him a 4-2 advantage and managed to hold on to take the tie break 7-5 and earn a surprise win.
