Agnieszka Radwanska has secured her place in the semi-finals of the BNP Paribas Open by beating Jelena Jankovic 7-5 2-6 6-4 at Indian Wells.
Both players caused problems on their opponent's serve in the first set but it was Radwanska who took full advantage of one too many mistakes from Jankovic to wrap up the opener.
Jankovic responded impressively by breaking the Radwanska serve in the opening game of the second set before storming into a 4-0 lead.
The seventh seed was briefly pegged back by here Polish rival but Jankovic held her nerve to level the scores with a 6-2 success.
Radwanska seemed to be on the brink of victory after breaking twice in the decider but Jankovic won four games in a row to level the scores at 4-4.
However, Radwanska edged ahead on serve before securing victory with her first match point in the 10th game of the third set.
