Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has wished fellow Scot Andy Murray luck in the Wimbledon final later this afternoon.
Murray faces six-time champion Roger Federer at SW19 this afternoon as he seeks his first Grand Slam title.
Ferguson, who is preparing for the new Premier League season with United, said: "I join the whole of the country to wish Andy all the best.
"Andy has done a fantastic job to get to the Wimbledon final and for that I would like to congratulate him.
"I hope the swell of Scottish fervour drives him on to victory. Good luck Andy, enjoy your day."
Today's final begins at 2pm.
