Jared Donaldson has been fined £4,300 after shouting in the face of an umpire during his first-round match at the Monte Carlo Masters.
The world number 51 faced a 3-6-2-4 deficit against Albert Ramos-Vinolas when a serve from the Spaniard was called in, much to the annoyance of Donaldson.
Umpire Arnaud Gabas failed to see any mark to back up Donaldson's claim that the ball was out, leading to the American angrily shouting in the face of the official before demanding that a supervisor be called.
After Gabas described Donaldson's actions as 'aggressive', Donaldson offered a sarcastic apology before being handed a code violation warning.
The match eventually continued with Donaldson losing in straight sets, but the 21-year-old has been hit with a fine for his behaviour.
