Former British number two Jamie Baker has announced his retirement from tennis at the age of 26.
The Scot turned professional in 2004 before reaching a career-high world ranking of 185 in June 2012.
However, illness and injuries have blighted his progress in recent years, seeing him slip down to ninth place in the national standings.
"When I look at everything objectively, this is the right decision," he told the LTA's official website.
Baker, who failed to qualify for Wimbledon this year, was a regular member of Britain's Davis Cup team.
