Andy Murray has said that Roger Federer outplayed him after losing in the final of the Dubai Tennis Championships this afternoon.
The Scot, who beat world number one Novak Djokovic to progress to the final earlier this week, was defeated in straight sets as the Swiss emerged victorious for the fifth time in Dubai.
"It was a good week," said the Scot. "I had a couple of good wins.
"The atmosphere's fantastic. It's not always the case that you get to play in packed stadiums. I really enjoyed it.
"It's a tough challenge against Roger. He played the better match and deserved it."
Murray's record currently stands at 22 titles in 32 finals.
