David Nalbandian is under investigation for alleged assault by police after a complaint was lodged to the authorities following the Argentina professional's outburst at the Queen's final.
The 30-year-old aired his frustration after losing a point in the second set against Marin Cilic by kicking an advertisement board, which struck line judge Andre McDougall in the leg.
After the incident the match was stopped and Nalbandian subsequently disqualified for drawing blood on the official's leg.
The Argentinian is also in danger of losing up to £36,000 worth of potential prize money as well as being demoted in the ATP points rankings, which were earned for reaching the final.
