Maria Sharapova has insisted that either player could have won the Rome Open final after her victory over Li Na on Sunday.
World number two Sharapova looked to have been on the verge of defeat in the second set, but a collapse from Li saw the Russian clinch the title.
"It was a crazy match," she said. "Either one of us could have own it. There really is no loser."
Sharapova will now turn her attention to the French Open, which starts next Sunday at Roland Garros.
