Roger Federer has insisted that he will give everything to win the Paris Masters this week.
Some have suggested that the world's best players will ease off in the French capital over the next few days, particularly with the ATP World Tour Finals in London due to begin in a fortnight.
However, the former world number one has revealed that he is going all out to win the tournament for the first time in his career.
"I'm here to try to win this title for the first time," the 30-year-old told Sky Sports News after defeating Adrian Mannarino in round two this afternoon.
"I don't play 30 times each year. I play about 20 and those 20 are a priority to me."
This year has been the first Federer has not won a Grand Slam since 2003.
