Tomas Berdych has sealed a place in next month's ATP World Tour Finals in London following a 6-7(4) 6-4 6-4 victory over Kevin Anderson in the quarter-finals of the Paris Masters.
Both competitors lost their serve once, which resulted in the opening set being decided with a tie-break, and Anderson was able to edge it 7-4.
Berdych struck instantly in the second set by grabbing a break point and that was all that he needed in order to draw level on sets.
The Czech stumbled in the decider by losing his serve, but then managed to bounce back to break his opponent twice and secure a place in the semi-finals of the tournament.
